May 24: A Memorial Day Thursday Milonga at Buttonwood Studio with live music by Oscuro Quintet, 1315 Buttonwood St, Philadelphia, 8:30 classes, 9:30 pm - 2 am milonga. Usual Friday Night Milonga this date will be cancelled. Facebook. See Philadelplia Tango Festival immediately below.

May 25 through 28: 2nd Philadelphia International Tango Festival, featuring Nick Jones & Diana Cruz, Adam Hoopengardner & Ciko Tanik, Angeles Chanaha, and Evan Griffiths. Hosted by the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School. Registration now open.   In addition to all day Saturday to Monday workshop offerings, there will be evening milongas Friday through Monday, and an after-milonga milonga Saturday. June 7 through 21, Sangha Space hosts Rafael Busch and Susanne Ortiz from Berlin, Germany on their first US Tour. Five workshops on a Tango Hop weekend with performances. Register at Sanghaspace.com where there are links to additional information.

2nd Saturdays Tango Hop: A monthly milonga featuring live music, performances, guest instructors and a mix of the best tango music to dance to all in a turn of the century ballroom (Sangha Space), $12.
