About Us The Kingdom of Lucerne, Inc. is an historical interpretation organization concentrating on Europe and its colonies between the years of 1000 and 1650 C.E.  The era is one of change throughout virtually all aspects of life and The Kingdom of Lucerne, through demonstrations and talks, attempts to illustrate some of the ordinary facets of life during this period. Our members have varying experience (between 1 and 20 years in historical interpretation) and the group has a growing reputation for enthusiasm and accuracy.  All of our presentations are supported by numerous years of historical research, in many areas re-evaluating primary evidence. Our dedication to accuracy can be seen not only in our approach to public entertainment and education, but also in our attention to detail.  Our clothing and the construction techniques for example are drawn from surviving examples and other primary sources.   Our Goals The Primary goal of the Kingdom of Lucerne is that of education.  We often go into schools in order to provide a view of history that is entertaining as well as informative.  In keeping with our primary goal, we have also instituted scholastic awards for high school seniors who are planning to attend college. One of our long term goals is to create a medieval village where students can come and interact with various residence of the village.  This village will also serve as a place where other groups can hold events.
